Rendy Allen, a dedicated Mental Health Counselor and lifelong resident of Benton, LA, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her work. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix, Rendy has honed her skills over a decade of service to Northern Louisiana.
Throughout her career, Rendy has been deeply committed to supporting individuals facing homelessness and mental health challenges. As a valued member of The Providence House team, she offers compassionate assistance to those in need, while also leveraging her expertise to self-certify in processing specialty housing services for individuals seeking permanent housing solutions.
In addition to her role at The Providence House, Rendy serves as a counselor at Rising Up Family Services, where she provides invaluable support and guidance to individuals and families navigating various life challenges.
Rendy is actively involved in various organizations, including her notable participation as a member of the Crisis Response Coalition and as a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Advocate.
Recognized for her leadership and commitment to personal development, Rendy was recently selected to participate in the prestigious 2024 Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.
